FIVE PAGE WEB
NOT YOUR TYPICAL WEB DESIGN STUDIO
Choosing a web designer can be a daunting task. Check around. Get prices. Ask questions. Find someone you are comfortable with– and someone that can help you reach your goals.
Keep in mind, no two websites are built alike. Be original. Know (or at least have an idea about) what you want to accomplish. Remember: Sharing information is different than selling a product or service. Your website should be built accordingly.
Consider whether you want to manage the website on your own or does it make more sense to have someone do it for you.
Do not listen to web-lore.
Don't worry about internet acronyms.
Not knowing what a SERP is ≠ a crime.
Most people are not too interested in becoming (web)masters of their own sites.
Yes, some people are great at it.
Others?
Not so much.
I tend to do work for people that pretty much know what they are looking for, but really have no interest in DIY.
Websites I build usually start with ±5 Pages.
Most five page websites cost about $400-500 to build.
While some of the websites I build have not been updated in over a year or two (simply because there has been no real reason to make any updates), I do manage a few websites that require nearly weekly (and sometimes daily) updates revisions and additions.
I tend to be more "git'r done" when initially working with a new client and then enjoy going back to smooth off the edges and take care of the details. It is simply easier to have a working (on the web) website to work with (however grand or flawed it may be) than over-planning and over-thinking an idea about a website on paper.
